The Generator Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating cross-functional efforts across the organization in relation to generator retrofit and generator install projects. He/she will be responsible for providing traditional support functions as needed (creating proposals, data analysisandorganization).
The Generator Support Coordinator will work on all retrofit and generator install projects, tracking projects to ensure all data and documentation is received and communication between various departments within the organization is streamlined and consistent.He/she will be responsible for ensuring all internal resources are collectively moving towards completion of the generator projects.For the right individual, this position has significant growth potential.
The Generator Support Coordinator will be expected to:
Have a general understanding of the NRG Distributed Energy Resources (DER) business (Demand Response, Asset-Backed Demand Response, Third-Party Power and Gas Supply) and the markets NRG conducts business in
Provide administrative support for the Sales, Analyst and Customer Care departments
Review incoming leads and assign to individuals across the Sales and Analyst departments
Schedule meetings between the sales and analyst teams to review generator feasibility models
Coordinate weekly conference calls to discussprogressionof generator retrofit projects and disseminate project updates to internal departments
Review generator retrofit models for accuracy prior to contracts being created and executed
Open office environment.
Some overtime required as special projects arise.
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word
- Bachelor s degree in business or communication
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication in order to correspond with various Departments across the organization.
Must be able to balance multiple projects and efficiently meet deadlines.
Must be a motivated self-starter
Must have the desire to achieve and exceed all assigned goals
Must have strong organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills
Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with internal departments
Be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word
Use internet tools for research purposes
