Summary:
Vivint is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join its camera and video product team. As part of the team, you
will be responsible for delivering a strategic vision for the future of experience-based services that will be layered
on top of Vivint’s premium devices such as cameras. Premium services are a newer muscle for Vivint; therefore,
this high-visibility role provides a massive opportunity for you to define the vision, develop a clear strategy, and
deliver impact to customers and business. In addition to creating the future for services, you will take full
ownership in improving and building out Vivint’s Playback DVR service , which gives customers access to 24/7
recording and timeline. You'll partner closely with design, engineering, product marketing, and cross-functional
partners to drive key KPIs for customer satisfaction and business growth. To learn more, dive deeper into Vivint’s

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create and embody a culture of “customer-first” in approaching user and business problems, with
demonstrated success having shipped experiential products.
• Develop a strong vision and product strategy for our new experience-based services platform.
• Own all parts of the product – from vision and strategy to yearly roadmaps to executing on set
goals.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure product opportunities are valuable to customers, viable
for the business, easy to use, and technically feasible.
• Write clear and concise product documents to get buy-in and receive investment to build.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, program, and QA to ensure
high-quality delivery against product roadmap.
• Build and maintain relationships across Vivint at a variety of levels from PM to Executive level.
• Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting
results.
• Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support
product channels for launch.
• Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject
matter expert on designated products.
Required Skills:
• Independent in setting a vision, roadmap, and making decisions along the way, yet deliberate in
cascading decisions in all directions (peers, leaders, team members).
• Experience in developing, launching, and analyzing customer research activities and initiatives.
• Lead by influence on product team and across organization.
• Inspire our team and convince leadership to rally behind your vision.
• Develop and drive towards specific goals and KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities, including multiple products.
• Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to clearly communicate across levels of the organization and departments in writing, orally
and interpersonally.
• Mentor and help develop product managers throughout the organization.
• Decisive and able to eloquently defend your decisions.
Required Education/Experience:
• Relevant work experience with defining and delivering multiple consumer software products and
services.
• Demonstrates deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer.
• Has managed subscription-based consumer software products that are deployed at scale greater
than 1M weekly active users.
• Well versed in the technical aspects of building software.
• Extreme comfort in creating structure out of ambiguous problems and works well with others to
support shared goals.
• Ability to learn quickly.
