Vivint Sr. Financial Analyst – Field Operations in Lehi, Utah

Summary:
Responsible for Field Operations financial analysis, reporting, planning, and modeling.
Primary Responsibilities:
Day-to-day finance support and P&L ownership for the Field Operations business unit
Annual budgets and ongoing forecasts in FPR, Adaptive, and Microsoft Excel
Variance analysis and PowerPoint presentations to leadership
Report creation, Excel modeling on trends, business performance, risks, and opportunities
Ad hoc analytics and strategic projects to support key initiatives
Month-end close processes including accruals, classes, and other journal entries
Review and approval of hiring and purchase order requisitions
Build, maintain, and leverage relationships with various business partners
Required Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Experience with reporting, planning, and analysis software tools (FPR, HFM, Adaptive, SAP, or Tableau)
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
Ability to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information
Diverse thinking, ability to work with ambiguity, create ad hoc analysis, and manage multiple priorities
Drive to improve and/or automate processes, with the desire to learn, improve, and progress professionally
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Strong understanding of Accounting principles

Required Education/Experience:
The role is onsite in Lehi, UT 3-5 days a week and can be remote on other days
3+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, or other related fields
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, or Information systems) required
Master of Business Administration or relevant graduate degree preferred
