Which specific teams or departments will the intern be supporting during their tenure?

The intern will support multiple departments, including Marketing Communications and Operations, Data Analytics, Customer Care, and e-commerce . They will collaborate across these teams to assist in tasks for the marketing team in the implementation, documentation, and auditing of automated journeys. Will assist with daily marketing tasks as we communicate with our customers.

What is the primary objective or goal for bringing an intern onto your team ?

The influx of summer work and preparation for the fall (our business's time of the year) : The primary goal of bringing an intern onto our team for the summer is to leverage their skills and energy to manage the increased workload during this period. Specifically, the focus will be on marketing initiatives as we onboard new tools and create new marketing programs.

Summary:

  • Build and launch marketing automation working with necessary data teams to launch data automations for promotional sends based on documented QA processes.

  • Journey documentation based on the designed process.

  • Audit and regularly meet with supporting teams (Marketing Analytics, Marketing Ops, etc.) stakeholders to confirm automation is doing what they're supposed to.

  • Create SOPs, aka "Playbooks" for how programs have been designed.

    The intern's role will significantly contribute to enhancing our company's effectiveness. This role will help to solidify processes and improve the speed and efficiency of how we proceed. This person will allow us to grow and improve customer marketing communications to better suit our customer needs.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
